| Computer Training |

In January 2007, pA launched
its Computer Training Unit in an effort to increase job
opportunities for people with disabilities. We offer a 3-month
computer course for clients who have completed S.S.L.C. In the
course, students develop basic computer skills, learn
conversational English, and build typing speed. With the
skills gained in the class, these students are eligible for
better, higher-paying jobs. While we extend Job Placement
services to our Computer Training students, we encourage them
to take the initiative to find their own jobs, helping to
build confidence and independence. In the past year, 9
students have completed the program, seven of whom have found
their own jobs. Some students have even tripled their family
income after getting a job and feel so happy to be able to be
a financial contributor in their family.
